Macbook Air M1 (820-02016) over voltage 3.2V at line PP1V8_S2 (from PMU BLUK3)

I have replaced the ic u8100 but still the same problem. Where should I check next?

This is a dangerously high voltage and may have caused other damage. Check for the presence of the FB leg resistor @ R820A.

i remove U8100 and checked the d18 pin with the L8230.= 0 Ohm
I think the feedback controll is no problem

Then it appears that the higher voltage of 3v2 is backfeeding from a leak somewhere on the board. That is, it is not this 1v8 rail that is creating a higher voltage but someone may be leaking the higher voltage onto this low power rail. Remove all power. Meter in diode mode. Short the meter probes and you will hear a tone beep.

Then one meter probe on L8230 and the other meter probe on another inductor on the board. Test each remote inductor on the board against this L8230. Stop if you hear a tone beep and confirm which inductor is shorting.

Trip light 2400 watt line conditioner bought used issue with low voltage oscillation going on between relays
          by sam_sam_sam
I found two capacitors on the board and one of the leads on one capacitor had bad soldering joint and the other joint connections not much better and there were several soldering joints that way to much flux around the joint redid several of them

The capacitors were a non brand that I did not recognize they got replaced and now it does not oscillating between relay but what concerns me a little bit is when the voltage is a little bit low the output voltage is around 130 volts and then drops down to 115 volts this happens around 105 to 108 volts if remember correctly

          Now...

Running Line Voltage and Integrating LED Pods - Automotive
          by FALKLAN
Howdy everyone! I hope all is well where ever you are!

I'm attempting to integrate a couple of LED pods into an automotive reverse lamp circuit. The problem being, while the vehicle is running there is a 8.5v current present on the reverse lamp power wire. Needless to say is that all LED pods and lights dimly illuminate while the 8.5v is present, so the LEDs are always powered on while the vehicle is running. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the voltage changes to 12 volts.

I am uncertain how to convert this line into a switched 12v output line for the LED pods....

MacBook A1989 repair / no CPU voltage no boot signs
          by Nikan.e
          Hello everyone.

I have recently obtained a MacBook Pro A1989 model with a touch bar and Apple ID. Unfortunately, it does not want to start up.

          No CPU Voltage.
          U7800 Does produce voltages.
T2 Chip warming up very very little.

I do have voltages like 1.8, 0.9, 3.3, 2.5 volts, etc., present. I did not find any short circuits. Unfortunately, the device has no touch ID/start button. So, I have used the debug jumper to put the device into DFU mode. - It is getting recognized as a Macintosh while not in DFU mode and as Apple (DFU) while in DFU mode....

MacBook Pro 2018 with Activation Lock
          by envym
          Hi everyone!

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.

I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...
