    Lenovo G565 in the UK?

    Hi all,

    Just looking over my stock and remembered about a Lenovo G565 I have here.

    It came to me for around £20 cause it was dropped and has a smashed screen, bezel, hinge etc. Good mainboard/keyboard / complete base though.

    I've been checking ebay most days for months now and not a single one of these has ever come up, does anyone know if they were a UK model, and if not, is there a UK alternative that I may be able to find to rebuild this 565?

          Thanks! When I say one hasn't come up, I meant a complete but faulty unit. I dug mine out to have a look and it needs a complete top; lid, bezel, screen, hinges and LVDS lead.

          The only way this would be a viable repair would be if I can purchase one with a faulty Mobo, hence wondering why these never come up as spares/repairs!

              usually they find a good mobo to swap it
