    Dell laptop E6440 val91 la-9934p turns off

    Hi. I have problem with dell laptop E6440 val91 la-9934p rev.1.
I turn on the laptop and it turns off instantly. After 5-6 attempts it turns on normally. I saw that it was burnt PU800, CD3301B Power Controller Chip.
If you see in the photo someone tried to do bypass and remove PR831, PR832, PC820, PR838.
I will replace CD3301B. I have the schematic but i dont know what are the characteristics of other componets to replace...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
    by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Dell E5470 LA-C631p - Short removed now turns on but no post/display
    by retrorepair2
Got a really frustrating issue here, got a Dell laptop as above which initially had a short on the +POWER_SRC rail, discovered a short cap in a bank of 3 near PU801. Removed and verified the short was gone, it was and the laptop powered on, tried to load windows but just kept rebooting. Sometimes didn't post. Battery was charging.

Stripped it back down and replaced the cap (assumed looking at the LA-632p schematic it's a 10U cap, no boardview so who really knows). Now the board doesn't charge the battery and while it powers on with a brief spin of the fans, there's no display on the...

Not heat related, everything is ok regarding to that.
    All voltages are present.
Wondering if this as anything to do with one wire circuit, the charger is not original, but it was working fine
    Motherboard is Cedar 13269-1 F3XMC Rev A00...

Dell Latitude E5570 - No display, turns off after a minute of pressing the power button.
    by hoarderteks_kyriakos
    Hello.

Yesterday my mother encountered a problem with her laptop, which led to it not turning on and expressing the behaviour mentioned in the title (you press the power button and then it turns off after a minute)

    Here is what happened:
At one point i was fixing a setting on the laptop to make the laptop properly recognize the NVMe drive i put in months ago. All worked until all of a sudden the computer blue screened. The screen said it would reboot, but it never did. So she held down the power button, powering it off. Pressing it again, the screen briefly turned...
