hello
this laptop came to me with no power at all even no lights of charge and pressing power button does no thing
i removed the cmos battery and plugged it in, the laptop turns on normally
i put the battery back, the laptop went back to its first state with no leds lights and no power. now if i want to turn it on i must remove cmos battery.any help?? note: i replaced the battery also"

Did you check if there is voltage drop at battery terminals, when it is connected to motherboard?

i had a asus like that f3 series.
i know that because it was my fault , i try to connect the wifi with battery on. it made spark near the area "wifi cables".

it had the same symptom like you i had to "CLEAR" the bios (discharge the board) and it will auto power on.
1.reprogram bios
2.maxim charging ic(that was the last think i wanted to try)
