If you have an SPI programmer make a backup of the bios chip and post the dump (in a zip or rar attachment) in the "Bios requests ONLY!" sub forum,and someone will help to remove or decode the password for you -> https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-requests-onlyComment

I am just reading thru peoples' request to unlock administrative lock/password for Thinkpad E15/E14 Gen 2 notebook. I am trying to figure out where this lock/password is located. Is it in the bios chip or SIO? Can someone, please shed more light on this for me? Thank you. -

i deleted in Bios the Admisnistrator password with old password, but after it didn't allow me to modify the User password. Now i can't boot, enter the bios or do anything. It asking at boot for password, old password don't work...
Could you please remove all password related stuff from this bios. A hate Asus....

I have a 2022 Asus Tuf A15 that I haven’t used in almost a year, but I went to boot it up to install some new games and all I get is the black “enter password” screen. I don’t remember ever setting a password, and none of my regular passwords work. I can’t log into Windows at all. I called Asus and their only option is to send it in and pay $80 before they’ll even tell me how much it’ll cost to reset/erase the password. I would love not to have to do that, do I have any other options? Thank you in advance.

Im trying to recover an asus bios password using this method.
I follow every step and it seems to work out well because i get a password but sadly the password doesn't work.
In my case, there is 2 times the same string that perfectly match the decyption hex, so my guess was that there is an user & an admin password and they are the same.
This is the string "0993C72677BA5C4DF3E012744407E89A0A2E8EC1E95444E89F7BFA0E55A2B0350BC9665CC1EF1C83".

I'm hoping someone can assist me.
I have an Asus Vivobook 16x Pro OLED laptop which has a BIOS password, and I can't seem to find it.
It still boots into Windows (boots from whatever SSD is installed but not from USB).
The model number is M7600R and serial number is N8N0CX03H71131C.
I tried AMITSESetup Decryptor but the password I got doesn't make sense (it's got a line break and special characters).
I also tried to use *************** MOD EDIT ,redacted************** and it also gave me the funny password of
