Thats a inductor 10uH SLH type.

Any idea if I need to replace that chip, is there any other alternative?

first of all can you describe more about your motherboard and problem please ?

When ac is plug in the notebook charge, but when you off the power the notebook still showing charging. the adapter I have had an LED indicator when this happen with ac off I plug the adapter. The LED Indicator on the adapter show AC is on and It is off. I run through all looks okie just this IC seem hot. So thought of replacing it and try. I went around to check never see any report on this fault before.
