    hello friends

    I am facing a problem with a Lenovo laptop in starting windows take 4 mints also at logo of Lenovo take some time I change windows, HDD, Ram and update bios but problem still any idea? hope you will help to solve this problem

    change the southbrige chip.. you can reflow it but after a month or two same problem again.

          you got intel right, try first to reflow SB, see what happen.

              PCH, i doubt it. if its a video problem could be it, but it seems to me data transfer problem..

                  reflow pch chip problem still check all core cpu capacitor giving same volts as in schematic but same processer not available ,I also have doubt reason is processer...

                    friends i got a same processor same bus speed . change the processor but same problem in bios and logo of windows system still for 2 or 3 minutes.

                                    Have you tried using a different power adapter? I experience this in some laptops I fix. Adapter gives correct voltage but cannot handle load when plugged in. When I place my ear very close to the charger I can hear sparks inside.

                                    And also check the system log on the event viewer on your computer management properties and see if it reports something regarding the processor being underclocked and if it does processor might not be getting enough power. Try it hope this helps. ciao!
