    Dell 1564 Dead

    Hi all,
Recently a customer gave me a DELL 1564 core i3 which is dead. When i connect the charger the power LED turn on for a while then it turns off. But when i press the power button there is no power. I've checked the voltages on Power switch, it shows 4.96 volts rather than 3.3 Volts. I've changed ITE8502 but there are same voltages If anyone knows Which part is faulty then i'll be very thankful to him. Or plz give me any hint to check which part is faulty?
    Thanks a lot.
I'm eagerly waiting for the reply.

                Very hardwork for me.
Reflashed BIOS same problem, reflowed nch same problem, changed SIO same problem.

Problem is no display, no fan spin, just turns on.

                Anybody please suggest.

IO chip has nothing to do with 5V-so dont replace it. What is the impedance on 5v coil??

Schematic is avlbl for this mb. You need to find out why 5V EN is missing. I've given you the clue and now you need to dig it further.

                                Hello,

                                Dell Latitude 5420 P137G
                                Board: LA-K491P REV A01

I have received this laptop which was described as "does not power on or accept charge." Battery shows no sign of charging when charger is plugged in, nor does the board show any signs of life when battery is unplugged and charger is plugged in. No light from the LED at all or any other indications of activity.

Board seems to have no shorts, all power rails are fine and show high resistance.

When charger is plugged in, voltage is present in 3.3V rail but absent in others....

                                Hi folks,
DELL Latitude 5410, board number FDZ41 LA-J371P Rev: 1.0 (A00), schematic uploaded in different post, here is the link --> https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=3484415

When I connect it to a power ( DELL round charger, or USB-C ), LED on the power button starts flashing white, and the laptop doesn't do anything ( flashing slows for a very brief time in time when I press it, but it continues again ). Battery is not charging. While the charger is connected, I have few voltages present, but some of them are fluctuating, see attached pictures.

                                Hello all,

I have a Dell 3080 Micro with a problem. As it is right now, it seems to be boot looping, maybe... There's no output, just fan on and power led lights up and blinks off every 2 seconds or so.
Previous owner told me he bought it with a BIOS password, he tried to use a CH341A programmer with some random test clip and tried to mess with it while it was powered on. Now it won't boot.

I tried to dump the bios with an EZP2023+ but I can't get a consistent read. Every time the dump is different, so it's unusable. I think the BIOS chip is fried.

                                ...

Hi, I disassemble my laptop to replace the speakers, to access them, you have to remove everything including the heat sink and fan, unscrew the motherboard, lift it up a bit to access the speaker wire.
that was not the first time I dissasemble it, i did replace the same speaker a few year ago and I repaste it last year, so I had nothing to worry about. but when I put everything back together, its completely dead.

After a bit of investigating, i found one pin of the status led ribbon cable that was unglued from the cable and bend touching another pin, I bend it back at his place...
