Toshiba l500 shut down after 30 scound

HI All friends i have a toshiba satellite L500 with 512ATI
first problem was display not coming i reflow the ati chip
now display coming but laptop shut down after 30 scound
if any one face this problem please help to slove the problem

clean fan and change thermal compund, it look like a thermal issue.

Make sure fan/heatsink are all in properly (not just testing boot without them) - Toshibas in my experience do the shut down after 30~60 seconds thing if the fan isn't plugged in or spinning right. Same with the Aspire Ones.

you better change the chip with the new one..

the chip is faulty, it would work but it gets overheat or lasts for 6/8 months then died after.

i changed thermal compund but same problem i want to see you there is a problem . you can see in attached pictures

there is a cut nere by gpu

That doesn't look like it's cut all the way through to me, I can't see any copper there. So it may not be a problem. But I am not sure.

I can't help but notice that PCB is very messy. Was it water damaged/in need of cleaning at any point?

Same as before matey, it does look like just a surface scratch to me, I doubt it's a problem. But someone else will need to confirm.

You can do a continuity test, bridge it if open.

carefully scape of paint at two ends and check with volt meter for short

or try manifly glass to inspect

dear i am confirmed these are not just scratches i check carefully by magnify glass three lines are breaks and i solde lines from solder and check continuity its good but problem still now before shutdown system fan speed up then system shutdown

After you fix that by making a solder bridge and the problem persists, ry to reflash the bios.

reflash the bios chip but problem still, then one friend give me advice that change bios chip , so i do it after that machine working good ..

could you post the picture of the bios chip you've changed?

Can you upload the bios .bin file or ROM file whatever you got there.
