Gate-source = 100kohm
Gate-drain = actually, I didn't notice before, but this gradually increases or gradually decreases a bit like a capacitor. It's visible on the 2000kohm setting most of the time.

Ok, in page 34, there's are jumpers which you can temporarily desolder to disable the load. It might help you find out which circuit is causing the oscillation, assuming your charger circuit is ok.

Think I'll try that, if it doesn't uncover anything it'll just go in the trash box. Board looks like it needs putting out of its misery anyway lol.
