    Acer Aspire 5601AWLMi display issues

I have picked up for a few bucks this laptop and I was told that the laptop is not working.
When I hooked up to an external monitor I have realized that the laptop did work, it was a display issue.
It showed a white screen with a bunch or random vertical lines on.
I have noticed that if I bend at the corners the whole display assembly, I have a nice image, but as I let it go, the image freezes, the mouse stops moving.
I thought that it's a bad display and I have purchased another used one.
Today has arrived the replacement used screen and with this display it does the same thing. What else can be?
I know TVs have bad tab bonding issues, but laptops have as well, or it could be a bad video cable? How can I test the cable?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Just cook it! It's already broken.

check your cable with multimeter continuity test.

Check the LVDS cable well if there is any oxidation,
        sometimes it causes problem too.
