Toshiba L500-1WP not working USB help

hi guys,

having problem finding USB fault.

USB ports does not recognize any USB devices. even built-in camera, card reader not working. does anyone came across with this issue?

Do you mean the devices appear as "unrecognised" (a la the device malfunctioning message in XP) or that there is no response whatsoever from the ports?

did you measure +5v ? if its not there check +5v switch. Or connect +5v from nearest one.(must be always on) if +5v is ok, then you have problem with south. reflow or reball.

unrecognized when windows sleep mode resumed.

when external usb are plugged in, no response. as if you haven't inserted any.
webcam does not appear in devices and printers.

5 volts is ok. it can power external hard drives. i can feel the drive motor spins and LED lit when USB cable inserted. it wont show in computer window tho

i have tried re-flowing to no avail

the one i got from lqv77 does not match with the parts.
