    Sony vaio vgn-fz290

    Hello everyone.
I'm new on this forum and looking for help.

I have sony vaio vgn-fz290 with distorsion video.lines phrase incompletes.
I change the lcd screen and doing the same.
I did the reflow, but, after the reflow the screen doesn't show nothing either the backlight.
I check the voltage before the inverter and get voltage.
This inverter have double output connection toward lcd screen.

What do you think is my problem?
The laptop is running (hear hard drive, light activity)

    Thanks to everyone.

If you did a reflow and failed (probably), you now need a reball or a bga replacement if it's destroyed .

sounds like a reflow that went bad...how did you "reflow" it?

reball is i say is the hardest soldering ever in the world i tried to do it and well it still requires work have yet to perfect that.... i have everything you need to do this extreme work... reflow station and a infared machine as well as stencil box and well everything to do reball...its hard very hard to do....but reflow on other hand always 100% success rate... never killed a mobo on reflow...

Those G86-770 are very sensitive on heating. If it got bubbles, then the IC it's ready for replacement.
