I know "No", "Oui" and "Bonjour". I suppose those three words may come in handy.

I can understand basic sentences and words, but I can't write it.
But Google Translate is good enough that we would be able to understand what you're saying if you type something there in French and ask Google to translate it to English

Hi everyone,
Weeks ago, I tried to connect the CH3741a to a Winbond chip. Some of the people who helped me (and I thank them) told me that the connection between the wires or their orientations were not good. However, even if I rectify this, it doesn't work (but I'm thinking there may be sub-steps I'm missing).
I've also been told that I was trying to read a 16-pin chip with 8-pin hardware, and that it wouldn't work. I've bought an adapter, but I can't figure out how to plug it in (yes, there's a lack of documentation), but I'd really like it to work at least...once!... -
I have been given a metex ms 2000 handyscope to use for fault finding.
It works but the 30 year old battery pack is no good, i have purchased the new correct batteries, tryed to put it all back together but couldnt get get continuity between the four 1.2v batteries, upon checking one of the components, a thermal fuse has blown i think.
now the issue is that I dont know what the part is, how to work out what it is and were to buy the components.
Im looking forward to getting it going so if anyone could help that would brilliant, and would certainly make my... -

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for practical courses for troubleshooting pc motherboards especially laptops in Europe, if possible in France. I have been a computer network system administrator and a corrector of administration modules for automated programs under Unix. But I really miss the practical "ops" side of troubleshooting.
