Hi everyone,
Weeks ago, I tried to connect the CH3741a to a Winbond chip. Some of the people who helped me (and I thank them) told me that the connection between the wires or their orientations were not good. However, even if I rectify this, it doesn't work (but I'm thinking there may be sub-steps I'm missing).
I've also been told that I was trying to read a 16-pin chip with 8-pin hardware, and that it wouldn't work. I've bought an adapter, but I can't figure out how to plug it in (yes, there's a lack of documentation), but I'd really like it to work at least...once!
Rather than rely on notes, drawings, images ... I need to see a video and check frame by frame how the connection is made, because on YouTube I can't find the video I need, either the quality of the video is poor or the person only shows what's happening on the screen (they show the easiest xD).
That's why I need someone with these criteria:
— has already successfully connected the CH3741a to an 8-pin 25x chip
— Has already successfully connected the CH3741a to a 16-pin 25x chip
— Has already successfully connected the CH3741a to an 8-pin 24x chip
— Has already successfully connected the CH3741a to a 16-pin 24x chip
Ideally, the video should be interactive (either via discord or other means) so that I can get precise answers, and your webcam should be at least 1080p. Do you speak English and want to help me? Make 4 videos (orientation of each part and of the wires going to the CH3741a/Orientation of the pliers to the chip/Successful reading test). For the videos, don't rush, take your time ^^'. I really want to succeed, I know I'm asking a lot (too much), but this may be the only way out.
Here's a screenshot of all my equipment and a photo of the chip.
