Toshiba Tecra A10 Rtc problem

    Toshiba Tecra A10 Rtc problem

    Good morning, going crazy around this machine; at boot up shows everytime "RTC battery low o checksum inconsistent", some times won't boot, date/time/settings losts

    Changed 2 times cmos battery, voltage on the pins is 2.4V as per specs, any suggestion?

              Check the voltage of RTC battery when you trying to boot and it fail. If is too low you got some bad cap in the RTC circuit . If not propably BIOS is faulty...
