Hi,
I got laptop that won't power on, nothing seems to be shorted and only thing that's heating up on board is EC and PU540 (but very slightly, 2 celsius above room temperature). On PU540 pin 13 - VCCIO_PWROK I got around 2.6V which could be bit strange.
I got no V5AL_DS3 present, and I don't know if I should at this point, but there's also no ALWAYS_ON signal present on PU600.
I got stable +V3_3AL_DS3, EC_V3.3AL, there's no V3_3S on EC.
I checked power button and hall sensor, those are ok.
I tried to flash EC but I couldn't due to unknown error (Vertyanov programmer, good and working). I tracked all KSO/KSI signals and all are good so settings are fine. I changed EC from dead board I found but acts the same, also cannot be programmed. I alse changed PU540 but nothing changed. I injected 0.8V on PL540, it draws around 100mA.
I guess both ECs could be dead so I ordered new one, but maybe I got it wrong. I also noticed there is no stable 3.3V on keyboard connector, those are also around 2.4-2.5V.
Is there any else I could check, any ideas?
