Re: What this ic
Post more details. Which logic board? Which model? Which company?
This circled part is a 6 pin sot23-6 package and is not a 3 pin device.
The other part nearby is a sot23-3 package and is a 2N7002 mosfet.Attached Files -

There are BV and Schematic on the forum

by ITFanHello dear members.
Are these mosfets from the 2N7002 series, such as the 2N7002LT1G and the 2N7002ET1G, interchangeable despite their different values?
Even within one model there are differences if you look at several manufacturers, as described in this thread with picture.

This causes a lot of confusion if you want to swap them.

Before proceeding with a component level repair, the usual troubleshooting process was followed:
1. Disassemble and unplug everything except the power connector.
2. Replace RAM.
3. Replace CPU.
4. Rewrite BIOS.
Unfortunately the board was still stuck with a 0.75A power consumption at 19V.
After reflowing both GPU and north bridge in one shot (it can't hurt) there was an instant improvement with a constant 1.75A power consumption, but I immediately noticed smoke and the typical smell coming from the GPU area.
I thought to myself "Well,... -

I have an ASUS PRIME TRX40-PRO S motherboard with an ripped off smd element, looks like a SOT23-6 case (like a dual 2N7002 mosfet).
Would appreciate a picture with component present or the component marking. Unfortunately no BV/Schematics available anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

by DynaxSCHi,
I have the above mentioned bord after repair, which was related to a lot of missing smd devices on the back of the board.
There were almost 20 devices missing, caps, resistors and some diodes/mosfets.
The board is generally working now, all PCIe ports are working, Windows installs normally.
However I have a problem with SATA ports 4-7 (the board has 8 SATA ports) - disks are not beeing recognized by the BIOS neither by Windows (which is usually normal in case BIOS does not recognize them).
The SATA 4-7 driver network is quite simple chipset<->buffers/drivers<->SATA... -
Hello,
I have a motherboard from an HP laptop: AHL50/ABL52 LA-C701P. Idle consumption is 35 mA; when the power button is pressed, the consumption goes up to 85 mA and stays there for about 15 seconds, then returns to 35 mA at idle.
First observation: the UEFI chip is not powered (MX25L6473E). I've checked the schematic; the +3V_PCH seems to come from two MOSFETs, 2N7002 and AO3413L. However, I don't have either +3VALW or PCH_PWR-EN present. The PCH_PWR-EN comes from the EC (KB9022QD). I've tested the +3VALW_EC on a few pins and I have 3.3V on pins 22, 32, 47, 97, 98, etc.... - Loading...
