I have component missing from the laptop board dy512 ns-b191.

Does anyone know the name of the component?

You can replace it with an inductor or connect directly. pin 24 on the ic is vcc

Carefully solder a piece of wire across the 2 pcb pads. The missing part is to reduce noise on the power rail. Not an important part, if it is bypassed with a piece of wire. Be sure the wire is only across the shiny solder pads where this part used to be soldered and not shorted to other nearby parts.

The value is likely indicated by the three color dots, can you post what they are? The value is likely in (nH) nano henry

Or just replace it as suggested with a wire

The part number could be NLC252018T-2R2J-N .Attached picture is a snippet from the LCFC NM-A272 schematic.Have checked some others as well and they all have a 2.2UH inductor attached to the Realtek 8111GUL chip,pin 24.
