Re: La-k092p acer motherboard no power
Will work for food..chole bhature?? I think my wife is cooking at least the chole..
1) schematic is here:

2) Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode. Measure the resistance to ground of the same enable pin (3V_EN).
Next, meter in DIODE mode. Red meter probe, yes red to ground. Black meter probe to 3V_EN.
What is the measurement? -

Re: La-k092p acer motherboard no power
Remove RB7/RB1 & DB1. Check resistance to GND on DB1,pin2. If its not showing low resistance, just jumper a wire between pin1-2 of DB1. Hope this will solve your problem.Comment

Re: La-k092p acer motherboard no power
In theory, thats how it should be. But it wont happen as thermal protection has kicked in. This is just my method to bypass thermal protection on Acer's.I've even replaced SIO,programmed it but thermal protection remains on acer. may be someone here knows another way out. Will look for such suggestions. Lets learn from each other.Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by usbdeviceHi all
There's two other threads about this monitor with seemingly the same problem. The problem was resolved in one case by replacing the entire PSU board and in the second one by replacing an unknown IC.

The first one has pictures of the pcbs and I noticed that there's one IC and assorted caps not populated on mine (but the PCB itself looks identical) so I thought that'd warrant a new thread.
It's my dad's old monitor. He...-

I've been attempting a repair of an Asus TUF H370 Gaming Motherboard. It fails to react to the power button being pressed, there's a debug light which confirms that there's standby power to the board but after any attempt to power on the components there's no sign of life. I've started my diagnosis and I know that the power-on... -
by justice171I am seeking guidance on an Acer Spin 1 SP111-33 that does not turn on when pressing the power button.
Below are the observations and troubleshooting steps I have taken so far: Observations and Tests:- Verified that all critical voltages are present:
- 3.3V and 5V are always present if DC is plugged.
- 1.8V on the BIOS chip is present.
- Checked the power button functionality:
- When pressed, the voltage drops to 0V, indicating the button is functional.
- Inspected the flex cable connecting the USB, audio, and power button to JUB1:
- Confirmed connectivity is intact, ruling out issues

by sam_sam_samI have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump
One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy... - Loading...
