Dell G15 5515 RGB Keyboard Not Detected (Compatible Keyboard, Possible BIOS/EC Issue?)
    by NotEnough
    Hi everyone,

I'm working on a Dell G15 5515 (Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3050 Ti) and recently installed a compatible 4-zone RGB keyboard and controller (for Dell G15 5510/5511/5515 models). While the keyboard functions for typing, the RGB lighting is not detected by Alienware Command Center (AWCC), which displays “No AlienFX devices found.”

    What I've Tried So Far:
    • Reseated the cables.
    • Reinstalled AWCC and AlienFX services.
    • Attempted BIOS downgrade but no improvement.
    • Inspected ribbon cables for damage.
    • Explored the possibility of BIOS or

    List of compatible laptop motherboards
    by Deby

This is a list of compatible laptop motherboard information that I have been collecting for some time.
    And it's still ongoing.
Every time I come across information that a board is compatible with another, I write it down.
Anyone who wants to, can continue to expand the list.
Packed in the rar, is an excel table that has additional information.

    BD35231 compatible replacement
    by m4a2t0t
Anyone know of a compatible replacement that has an adjustable output? The BD35230 has a fixed output of 1.0V and would be acceptable but I cannot find it anywhere. There is also the BD3523 which has an adjustable output but its also nowhere to be found. I could probably source them from alibaba but I dont have that much time and I dont want to make a huge order.

Or perhaps you know how the BD35231 can be modified to output 0.95-1.0V? The board does have empty pads for an adjustable IC but Ive only been able to make the output go up.

    Thanks for any help...

Looking for SMPS flyback tranformer TAM TO-5622 or equivalent?
    by peter_wheat
    Hi All,
I'm looking for a SMPS flyback transformer TAM TO-5622, or equivalent, or any information on it? Company is Tamura Corp (https://www.tamuracorp.com). It has Primary, Secondary, and Auxiliary windings. Have emailed the company, but no info back yet. It is out of a Makita DC24SC battery charger.. This transformer has a burnt out the primary (caused by a failed MOSFET). Secondary, gave me a reading of 0.49 Ohms, and Auxiliary a reading of 0.93 Ohms. I took it to bits, thinking I might try and re-wind it, but it was more complex than I realized, and had difficulty removing...

Help identifying AMCH073 regulator or finding a compatible replacement
    by taurtnt
    Hi everyone,
I’m trying to identify a step-down regulator marked AMCH073. It’s used on the PEX power rail of a graphics card. I can’t find any datasheet or info online.
    Here’s what I’ve observed:
    • It has a QFN-16 footprint, similar to NB670.
    • Pins 1, 2, 15, 16 are connected together and go to the inductor, so likely SW (switch node).
    • Pin 9 is connected to GND, which doesn’t match NB670 (where pin 9 is SW).
    • Pin 8 also seems to be tied to the same GND plane.
    • The chip only says AMCH073, no manufacturer logo or other markings....
