    Is pq316 on or off the board?

          I should remove mosfet and do measuring on motherboard pins? All power removed?

            yes, remove this mosfet.

            Connect your battery.

            Connect the power adapter. The adapter will not be able to charge the battery since this high side mosfet will be removed.

            This is only a test to see if the battery is still in a conflict with the power adapter when BOTH power sources are applied to the logic board.

            When you do this, who is powering the board? Is it the power adapter or the battery?

                Which other mosfet is removed ?

                From post #20, how is the board powering up with the adapter connected but mosfet is missing?

                  it was just sugesting to my question about ITE.

                  OK mosfet and resistors are back.

                  I connected battery (motherboard did not start), when I plug charger in, motherboard has started, there is no power consuption from power source, so running from battery and N1-0V and N2-battery voltage

                    So it has to be the battery mosfet that is left.

                    Measure the voltage to ground on each pin of the battery mosfet (PQ314) with the power adapter & battery connected.

                          1,2,3 pins ->7,5V
                          4 ->13,5V
                          5,6,7,8 ->7,5V

                              Meter in resistance mode.

                              Measure the resistance across the removed mosfet on your work table (PQ316).

                              Source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8)
                              Source (1-2-3) & gate (4)
                              Gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8)


                              Post each measurement. Checking for a low resistance that means the mosfet is defective.

                                Meter in resistance mode.

                                Measure the resistance across the removed mosfet on your work table (PQ316).

                                Source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8) -> 2Mohms
                                Source (1-2-3) & gate (4) -> 66 Kohms, if I change probes get 214 KOhms
                                Gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8) -> 1,8 Mhoms

                                  To me, the source & gate readings are too low.

                                      Mosfet replaced, the same. Orange light by charger is steady, but still no charging. Gonna to try flash ITE firmware...

                                        Yes, good idea. The charger IC is configured over the smbus / I2C SDA and SCL lines. This configuration defines the battery charging profile, voltage, current, etc. So the smbus master must exist and must configure this IC.
