    Macbook Air A2337 external display

    Hi all, first post here

I have the logic board for an A2337 Macbook Air. When i plug it in with just a usb-c board (power, keyboard, mouse and HDMI) to an external monitor i can see the cursor moving on the display but cant figure out how to make it mirror the displays. Is this even possible?

I also bought an audio board to plug in the touch-id that came with it and the right speaker which has the hall sensor for the lid hoping i could get that to work but when i plug the audio board in it gets hot which i think is probably an issue. Also with the audio board plugged in and the touch ID i cant get it to boot up far enough to show the cursor like i can when nothing but the logic board is plugged in

This is just a project for me to tinker with and learn so i don't really mind if i break anything trying something. I'm just trying to have fun with it to see if i can get it working.

    Thanks for any suggestions

Did you ever figure this out? cmd+f1 and cmd+f1+1 aren't doing anything for me...

Close the Macbook LID/LCD . After that you ll see your desktop in the external monitor. When Macbook LID is open it treats the externam display as a secondary display.
You can change this in settings where it will mirror the primary display on the external display

Thanks for the advice! I ended up just shorting IPD_LID_OPEN_1V8 to ground on JT400 with tweezers since I don't have a chassis attached (same as the OP here).

Right now I'm trying to get to DFU (also without a display, keyboard, touchID, battery etc attached) if that's even possible...
