    [help] A1466 820-3437 NO AUDIO!!

    P1V5S0SW_AUDIO_EN present

    PP1V5_S0SW_AUDIO present

    all diodes readings on j9500 present and perfect

    HDA_SDOUT R1313 33ohm
    HDA_SDOUT_R R1921 1kohm
    HDA_SYNC R1311 33ohm
    HDA_BIT_CLK R1310 33ohm

    HDA_RST_L present

    changed I/O Board and flat...no luck


    no audio peripheral avaible in the system

    maybe smc rework before by someone else

    any help?

    I don't know much English, but the audio failure of that model, for me, has been related to the flex, io board and board connector. really try changing io board

      Audio codec is on the DC IN board. Try a PRAM reset first, then make sure you are using a known good DC IN board and flex cable.

      Often see corrosion at the base of J9500 too. Check signals at each pin like AUD_PWR_EN etc.

        I have Already changed dc board And flex like i said before…

        There is no corrosion on j9500

        Signal are present like i said

          I think wrong SMC (from 3209) may cause no audio on these. Can try to reflash SMC firmware at least, or replace from another 3437.

              Good point Piernov. I know that using a SMC from a 820-3437 donor for a 820-00165 board causes that.

              Reflash the SMC firmware from https://github.com/MuertoGB/SMCTool/releases
