Retro 80's handheld game

Well I was going through my assorted collection of horded possesions the other day, and I came across my first ever handheld video game, so old it clocks @ 199 points!

It was damaged by a neighbour when I was but a teen, though not enough to render it useless, the toggle merely refused to return to centre position (automatically), well you wouldn't think it... but my little ones love it, so I figured I better fix it (properly), on a dismantle I noted one leaking capacitor, so I thought I'd share

Brand is Tracon, while the value is specified as 1/50



All I need to do now is locate a sliding (auto return) switch/toggle...

looks like that cap was glued down.does look domed though.
1/50 is a common one and any gp should work.
btw those sort of games are fast becoming collectable and expen$sive.

Thanks for your response kc8adu... if it was glue, it's the only cap that was tilted over they bothered to do it to, that combined with the bitter (nasty) tasting residue, I'd say it had leaked

I kept 'true to form' and grabbed a Hitano g/p capacitor from a local outlet, I don't think I'll find a replacement slide/toggle switch... I may need to repair/rebuild it instead, we'll see

I suppose, the capacitor did well to last this long >20 years
