this dell optiplex 3050 micro can turn on but shows error:
Boot Guard verified failed
system will shutdown
press any key

in the attachment is the bios i backup from this machine and also attach the service tags and mainboard number

my backup bios file only 8.195KB but yours is 16.384KB
do you think my bios is corrupt?

You have failed the backup and the bios chip shows it as 16MB of data.

The EZP2019 programmer does not come to anything and does not recognize Winbond 25Q128CSIG chip - It tells me that it is an Eeprom93!

When I set manually on the Winbond 25Q128 and I start the process, the writing starts then an error appears after checking the writing. The Bios chip does not keep any data and remains empty!

I have the impression that this programmer is not very reliable! Do you have a reliable programmer to advise me?

You can try the 2 files in #4 but must read your bios chip first to make a backup of the original bios you can try with CH341A programmer, this is the cheapest one, pay attention to the voltage of this type (the black board has a default voltage of 5vol) in addition you can use the Rasberry Pi with the Flashrom tool.

Thanks for your quick response and advice...

I have already tried the 2 files in #4 - But nothing works - With EZP2019 + croco clip (even at low speed) it ends in failure (flash check error address 0h)

In reading, the original chip seems empty! So difficult to recover an .OLD file

I will wait for a possible other solution while waiting to receive a new programmer to try again!

A big THANK YOU to you for the 2 files that you sent to me...

I tested these 2 files; unfortunately, after installation, the PC displays a new error (2 orange leds + 3 orange leds then repetition)

Ditto for the 2nd file!

Good Afternoon All. Please accept my apologies as I am a newbie and don't quite fully understand BIOS programming. I have a Dell Micro 3050 (old BIOS attached), service tag 43LXXK2 with a 2-1 amber error code. Hopefully it can be rescued with this. I'm not sure how to edit this bios as Dell PFS Extractor produces 2 separate folders, each containing a 9MB bin file. Thank you for your support.
