    Hello.
The problem is STATUS REG ERROR at: 0001 Buffer Value :0x02 --- IC Value : 0x03 When I burn flash from badcaps or even dump from GD25B256EFIR . And after flash process, motherboard shows error 3-5 (memory problem). But everything was OK except admin password. What I did wrong ?

After that, everything ran OK, with no errors in BIOS log, and no problems with BIOS settings. (Haven't tested the VMT yet)

But I also checked diffs between original and patched flashes - the end of the patched file is FF FF...
Could this affect anything in the future? Should I replace this with data from original firmware and flash it again?
What you mean is this ? That doesn't affect anything.

The problem is that PC itself has been resold several times, and its path is Sweden - Poland - Ukraine. So I don't have owner's contacts and can't ask password.

I've been in contact with Dell support in Ukraine. PC is under warranty, but they can't help with password because I need to transfer warranty to my country and provide purchase documents, which I just can't do.

After some research, I saw paid solutions, but then I found your forum with lots of information.

I've read "BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools" topic, but I don't have a programmer to dump the bios from the current system. I read that it's possible to patch bios update file to remove password (or related functionality) from it.

I extracted bios files using "Dell_PFS_Extract", but:
    1. It contains 2 BIOS: EVT_BUFFALO and EVT_CHPB_BUFFALO and I don't know which one should be patched.
    2. Each BIOS contains a lot of .bin files. I understand that BIOS itself is "1 System BIOS with BiosGuard v1.19.0.bin" file, but I'm not sure how to merge it together to get a single .bin file.

    Service tag: 72GTSH3-8FC8
Attachment contains only 1 BIOS because of size limits - EVT_BUFFALO.

    Please, can you help me?
