Hi folks,
I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)
Steps I took:- Read BIOS with CH341a, verified hash twice

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
I recieved 2 Dell OptiPlex 7040 MT pcs for repair. One got fixed with clean me bios but the other one didn't work with clean me bios. With original bios, its CPU fan would turn on slowly and after a few seconds start spinning at full speed but when I reprogrammed the chip with tested clean me bios, the CPU fan would start at normal speed and shut down after a few seconds. When I press the power button, the fan spins and then stops again. With original bios, it keeps spinning at full speed. I tried repairing its bios but it didn't work as well. The CPU core voltage (VCORE) is zero in both cases.... -
I've been trying to reset the bios password on this god-forsaken laptop, and due to it being a 8FC8, i've had little to no success with online password generators like https://bios-pw.org , not to mention how I don't want to burn a hole in my wallet by paying like 80 bucks on a weird sketchy website. Im using a local bios tool, except it requires a BIOS file, and I'm not entirely sure how to retrieve it.

i have download Flash BIOS executable file but i dont know how to conver it to Bin file
i have check on youtube there is some programs are doing this method of creating Bin file from ExE file .
if anyone has this method please need his supporting .
