HP Z8 G4 Workstation Security Device problem

I've experimented with various BIOS versions, including both older and newer ones. Additionally, I attempted a factory reset and replaced the battery. Based on my understanding, should I be seeking a different BIOS version or perhaps a patch file?
It would be awesome if someone could offer assistance.
