Missing voltage on ZOTAC GTX 1050 TI 4gb coil - need schematic

    Hello to all,

I have a missing voltage on this ZOTAC GTX 1050 TI mini card (circled in blue)
I have all my other voltages strangely but the missing one goes up to 0.04 V and measured in Ohm 45 Kohm I find that really high and I expected much less than that.
0 SHORT circuit on the rest of the board
GPU heating and voltage at the coils 0.80 V which is normal for this type of card logically.

Without a schematic it's quite complicated and long to look for.

    Do you have an idea?
I checked all my components seems present and checked in 2 times with the microscope and no missing.

With the thermal camera nothing heats up except a 2 Kohm resistor (noted 30B) but I find well my 12 V on one side

    Many thanks in advance,

If you need more pictures I will send you some if necessary

u need check some voltage level:
      12v,5v,3.3v,1.8v,1.05v boot, 0.9-0.8v gpu, 1.5-1.35v ram
      PC work for schemaltic:
      Mainboard: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4
      CPU: I3-3240
      Ram: 16Gb
Graphic Card: GTX 1050Ti zotac 4Gb Mini
      SSD: 120Gb
      HDD: 2Tb

Re: Missing voltage on ZOTAC GTX 1050 TI 4gb coil - need schematic

I was able to test the rest of the system, I have my voltages up to the GPU.
This coil L11 is surely the missing 1V voltage.

I could point with the probes and see where it is powered and it seems that it is powered by a Q4 transistor which is probably a PNP transistor (Test positive probe of the Base and
black probe on Transmitter = blocking
Test positive probe from Base to Collector = blocking
Positive probe test from Collector to Base = on, i.e. approximately 0.610 V

So I replaced by an equivalent transistor and I could find 1,09V

Now when I turn on the card the display port is now recognized but black screen and HDMI

Maybe the wrong transistor installed? or insufficient voltage on this L11 coil? I could measure now 1.09V
        I am doing wrong?

        See the pictures

        Thanks a lot =D

L11 is coil supply voltage for Fan! Haiz! First check and find 1.8v coil

Re: Missing voltage on ZOTAC GTX 1050 TI 4gb coil - need schematic

Thank you very much, that's the 12 V Fan

The 1.8 V is present on the coil
And the fan is rotating at maximum from the start

Or do I have to look at another Enable signal?
Display port detected by the screen but not the HDMI and black screen.

I have my 1.5V VMEM and 0.80V on all GPU phases
Also my 3.3V on the bios powered correctly as a whole.

              I have no idea lol

Hi, my friend have this laptop
Before all voltage missing, im already repair this laptop 3x (i have 3 of this laptop and all of them dead, can't be repaired because dead CPU and other component due unknow chips, why always asus laptop have this issue).

1st repair it short at 3vsus (dead low side mosfe and short caps)
2nd repair short at CPU Vcore mosfet (low side)
3rd repair 12v missing (only 1.2v but it can run bios and hdd not detected because 3vs missing).
and then after 3x enter BIOS it blank then dead (all mosfet buzzing, 12v still missing)
                ...

RTX 2080 ti (Zotac - triple fan) - No video output / Vcore / Vmem missing
                by T4H
                Hi,
I have an RTX 2080 ti (Zotac - triple fan) with no video output.
So far I have measured the following:
                • PS_FBVDD_PH3_SW = 40 ohm to ground (Micron ICs) - Memory should be fine right?
                • 12V power rail present
                • 3.3V power rail present
                • 5V power rail present
                • 1.8V power rail present
                • Vcore power rail missing --> PS_NVVDD_VREF is present. (from uP9512P / U812)
                • Vmem power rail missing --> Not there because Vcore power rail is missing.

Any idea? I have already tried to flash the BIOS chip (backup got created) - sadly no changes.

HP 17-cn0234ng - RAM and VCORE voltage missing
                by chbalnuweit
                Hi all,

I got an HP 17-cn0234ng and I am hitting a wall diagnosing it.

When I first got it, it wouldnt turn on at all and no lights were active.

I found a shorted capacitor on the 3.3V powerrail near the lid sensor. Once I removed the shorted capacitor, the power and charging light on the DC connector started working and the Laptop reacted to the powerbutton.

When I press the powerbutton, current consumption goes up to about 50mA and just stays there. Chipset and 3.3V regulator getting a bit warm under thermal camera, but not really noticeable...
