GTX 1070 having trouble identifying a component

    Hello,

I'm having trouble finding a data sheet for this component and was hoping someone might have an idea.

It's located on the back of the board, basically opposite the power rail for memory.

    Thanks in advance!

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 1070Ti Schematic & Board View

The GeForce GTX 1070 was a performance-segment graphics card by NVIDIA, launched on June 10th, 2016. Built on the 16 nm process, and based on the GP104 graphics processor, in its GP104-200-A1 variant, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on GeForce GTX 1070. The GP104 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 314 mm² and 7,200 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked GeForce GTX 1080, which uses the same GPU but has all 2560 shaders enabled, NVIDIA has disabled some shading...

      Trouble identifying SOP-8 IC
      by spleenharvester
      Hi all

I have a SOP-8 IC here on a motherboard (FKN-20006-A01259-YS-RS QU48 V1.6) from a QNAP TS-221 NAS that I believe has blown. Image here. It is getting 12V and outputting 5V on the top right leg but the leg leading to L6 has a slight burn mark and there is no output from it. It is marked either A8P3E or ABP3E, there is one more character at the end but it is illegible (this chip was covered in glue which seems to have taken some of the markings off). Based on what isn't working (ethernet LEDs, power LED, JMB362 AHCI controller, fan is getting 12V and 5V but no PWM signal) I suspect...

Having trouble identifying this IC (HP envy laptop mboard)
      by survivalbloke
This IC lies somewhere between the DC-in and battery-in. I'm connecting the power adapter and getting nothing - no lights(at the jack), no power, no nothing. However, this IC is getting very hot. I looked in the markings sticky thread but didn't see anything familiar so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this component. I've got stacks of motherboards in the shop here, if only I knew what this was maybe I could find a compatible replacement.

      Thanks!...
