    My biostar Tpower

    I just took a look at my motherboard with the side panel off my computer, it has 100% solid capacitors. I was questioning what brand they were though.

    I looked at them, and it turns out most of them are Sanyo OS-CON SEPC's.

          i have a biostar tpower too (tf7050). are u sure they're oscon? mine are (i think) some taiwanese solid caps..
          days are so short when you actually do something..

              Yours is a Tforce, mines a Tpower, that might be why.

              The Tpower is supposed to be the best motherboard biostar makes, while the Tforce is the second best series.

                      curse me and my lazy ways.

                      Im at my dads house now, and my Tpower is at my moms.......

                      I might go over there monday, thats when my new 750W psu comes. If I do, I will have to get pics. I was just looking on sanyo's website, and even though the caps on my tpower are pink, they don't look the same as sanyo's picture of their caps...hrm.

                          Hi,
                          After a bios update, the motherboard stop to work, only the Re-live screen appears with instructions how to recover the bios, i have follow the instructions, tried multiple pen-drives but it seems the motherboard can't read them, so i thought about write the chip with a memory dump
                          It has a MX25L8005 chip.

                          I do have several old pc motherboards which i recapped 10 year ago and some of those caps are bulged now.
                          I would like to upgrade them using solid capacitors. I do use them for testing and helping some alternative operating systems.
                          I would like to ask if such an upgrade can be done, what should i have in mind when replacing electrolytic by solid caps and if such thing exist, if there are caps list for old motherboards. I would have to figure out what caps needs each motherboard and then prepare a list to try to ask for them on some electronics stores.

                          Hello fellows,

                          I am putting a feeler out for a schematic (or ideally boardview) for the Biostar B660-T Silver motherboard.

                          I had let my guard down and decided to trust the Biostar supplied Windows based BIOS flash tool, only to find that the system would not POST upon restart.

                          no problem I thought - I would just flash using my trusty CH341 and be on my merry way.

                          Upon inspecting the board and locating its Winbond NOR, I found it in a rather precarious spot nestled between the RAM slots and PCIe slot and right next to a rather meltable-looking...
