    Asus V8440 (ti4400)

    hi again

    this time i have trouble with a gfx...
    when i put it in an AGP slot and try to boot i get no video signal.
    additonally the ti4400 chip does not get hot (i tested without heatsink).
    i havnt found any visibly damaged parts..
    btw i doubt its a capacitor related problem only sanyo caps..

    I had the same problem with a couple Ti based ASUS cards. I had to install the OS with a different card, load the Nvidia driver, shutdown, change cards, then the cards would work. Not much help, but they work that way.

      Check if your core and memory are getting power at all, can see my guide on voltmodding the card here;
