I have a K4200 GPU in my Z440 running Windows 10. Some time around October 28th, my GPU experienced a fault. My windows system BSOD'd with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION and restarted. On restart, the GPU drivers were rejected from loading due to an Error 43. There was some artifacting going on in both Windows 10 and Windows 8. The strange thing is, the artifacting only shows up in the Windows ecosystem. When the system is in BIOS, there are no graphical anomalies. I looked in the event viewer for some clues as to what was going on, and I noticed something new. The system was notifying that the Secure Boot/CA keys need updating. After running DDU to remove all the display drivers and then reinstalling new ones, the GPU was still not being responsive, so I decided to try resetting my Secure Boot keys. After I did this, my GPU returned back to normal. The artifacting disappeared. The only catch is, I cant give it any loads otherwise it will throw a fit, the video output will freeze and the system will BSOD again. In order to return it back to normal I have to go through the DDU, Resetting Secure Boot keys process again. Since Windows 10 is no longer supported, I cant get any updated keys. So it made me wonder if anyone else is having this issue. I used google trends to see if there were any other people having this same issue and the results are interesting to say the least.

This shows the trends for people searching "GPU artifacting" and the event viewer message "Secure Boot ca/keys need to be updated". Its hard to ignore that the trend started on October 20, which is 5 days after Microsoft ended Windows 10 support.
