Hi,
I am trying to troubleshoot & repair a Zotax RTX 3070 Ti Trinity for which I was not able to find schematics nor board view.
The card came up with no apparent short circuit but was missing some voltages; unfortunately I cannot remember which ones as it was two weeks ago. While probing I accidentally shorted 2 pins of an IC (cannot remember which one either) and burnt GS9238 which I understand to be a 5V power supply.
I replaced this GS9238 but unfortunately I am not able to get back the 5V.
Checked the soldering twice, even tried another chip (I bought 10) but still the same symptom; the output of the 5V PS is ~0.7V and FB voltage of said chip is ~110mV. I checked the resistor bridge (RFB1 & RFB2 in the Datasheet and they read 17.5k and 3.8k).
Resistance of the rail measured at the coil is 18k.
This is my first attempt at repairing a 30xx series so I am sure I am missing something obvious.
I would be grateful of anyone that could help steer my investigation.
