Yes, that worked perfectly. Thank you very much! It went from failing to pass the RAM debug light to properly booting into windows.
I took one resistor off a totally dead 12900f and one off a destroyed motherboard. I imagine the blue color means something specific, like 0.01% tolerance, or a special temperature range, so I have yet to see if the black 1% tolerance resistor makes any difference.Comment

by TinkerTronHey everyone,
I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.
Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:

by pb1911ntHi
I have now a 820-4924 (with a i7 and 16GB).
I would like to get the device working again for me.
The Problem is the Device comes to me with a "dead" ssd. I tested on a other 820-4924 (i5-8gb) board and the MAC OS Installation stopped working with this SSD.
Well i hope/guess its was a easy peasy Fix - New SSD And its working again.. But No!
I don't know exactly how the procedure should start. But the LCD panel goes dark - then the "chime"(?!) sound comes and only 2 or 3 seconds later the apple comes.

by EvazXHello everyone,
I am working on an ASUS ROG G513QY laptop with RX 6800M dGPU.
Originally, this laptop was completely non-functional. I replaced the motherboard (part number 6050A3254002-MB-Axx), and with the replacement board it started working fine.
For a long time, the dGPU worked perfectly stable. I played several hundred hours on very demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077 without any crashes, instability, or detection issues. Performance was excellent and there were no warning signs of failure.
However, after some time, the replacement motherboard...08-25-2025, 06:09 PM - Loading...
