    Can't get drivers for Nvidia V100 32gb Installed

    Specs
    Ram: corsair vengeance ddr5 16gbx2
    CPU: i7-12700KF
    Mobo: MSI MPG Z690 Carbon WiFi
    GPU: 1660 Super
    OS: Windows 11 home

    First time installing one of these cards for a client, I did a little research, I couldn't find anything about the card not being compatible with my specs, or other requirements the system doesn't have.

    When the card is installed it sometimes shows up in device manager as a 3d accelerator. When I download the drivers from Nvidia they give an error saying no compatible hardware found.

    I've checked bios above 4gb was enabled by default with this motherboard.

    I've removed all video drives and tried reinstalling still got the same error. I tried installing the files manually through device manager. I've tried multiple older drivers and still get the same errors.

    I'm at a loss if anyone has experience with these cards any advice would be much appreciated!

    What are the details of the motherboard? Is the bios the latest? Is the motherboard being over clocked? Restore the bios settings to default. Contact the motherboard tech support to discuss your fault. If the motherboard is flaky on the PCIe enumeration, then the driver does not have a prayer.

    Just spent the last 2 weeks on a similar case with the US Defense dept where a brand new line of HP servers are incorrectly detecting our PCIe adapter designs (Gen1) as Gen2. Due to their bios fault our approved adapters are not being seen by this next gen server. HPE is now reviewing a fix. The plan B is for us to respin the hardware to pacify this non-compliant HP server the client is in requesting.

      Check hardware vendor/device IDs in Device Manager.

        Confirmed my bios were on the latest update.

        No overclocking all settings were at default.

        I tried rolling them back to an earlier version and still got the same issue.

          Are you sure this is a genuine retail card?
          1DB8 is the product ID for the V100 SXM3 32GB module, not the V100 PCIe 32GB card, it should have product ID 1DB6.
          1DB8 is not listed as a compatible product ID in the Data Center Driver for Windows 552.74. Dunno if it exists in another driver package, or you can try to select manually the driver from Device Manager and force the installation.

              I wasn't able to get any of the suggestions to work and eventually gave up and installed Linux, the card worked fine in Linux but was constantly overheating after 30 minutes of use.
