Hello,
I've got a SanDisk Ultra II 480 GB 2.5" SSD (SDSSDHII-480G)
Controller: Marvel 88SS9189-BLD2
Symptoms:
- the drive is completely dead, no response when connected to the computer,
- current consumption (0.01 A)
- under thermal imaging the only component that heats up is the controller,
- I checked the voltages according to the thread (https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic....&view=previous) - all seem correct (typical 1, 1.8, 3 and 5 V).
Is there any chance of data recovery? I assume replacing the controller without losing data is impossible.
Is there any sens doing a reflow/rebaling of the controller?
