I have an MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 (MS-7525) which underwent LGA1700 replacement and had a missing resistor in the VRM section. The missing resistor RV170 (49,9Ω) has been resoldered, and I have also replaced a demaged LGA1700 socket.
Generally the board does boot to Windows, but not always in the first attempt, but after the second attemp to boot the board with Power Button. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the... -
by smic717394Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... - Loading...
