So I acquired a Netgear WPN824 which was flaky as all hell. Recapped it and it's adapter, and it works fine now.
I replaced an off brand (can't remember what it was) 470uF 16 volt output cap in the adapter with a Nichicon HM 1000uF 16V, which has caused the adapter to only buzz when it's not plugged into the router (before it was buzzing all the time.)
I want to replace the HV input capacitors (just for the hell of it, they both test fine) but can't find anything on Digikey's website that'll fit.
I need:
22uf (or more) 200V cap. of no more than 10mm X 18mm
5.6uF (or more) 200V cap of no more than 8mm X 18mm
Original caps are:
Aishi 22uF CD11GF series (240ma ripple at 100KHz, 132ma 120Hz) and
Aishi 5.6uF CD11GH series (cant find info for 5.6uf, but 4.7uf in same size case is rated 110ma at 100KHZ and 60.5ma at 120Hz)
They were apparently designed for use in florescent ballasts.
Any one know where I can get small high quality 200V electrolytics with equal or better specs?
