    Gigabyte Graphics Card

Hi, I am not 100% sure if the Sanyo WX 6.3v 1000uF caps have blown there plugs out a bit or if thats how they are.

Not sure if the picture is any good but the black plug is touching the pcb.

    Thankyou

    Re: Gigabyte Graphics Card

Most good brands of capacitors have a molded base that makes the capacitor sit up off the board a bit. I see no cause for concern with that WX, which is typically a reliable series.

      Re: Gigabyte Graphics Card

That's how they normally are. Sanyo are normally quite reliable.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

It seems like you got a bad cap on your mainboard, lower left corner

Ok, I thought I would check since I had a motherboard with Sanyo's that went and didn't have a new cap to compare them with.

Thanks for pointing that out. As pfrcom said I have another thread about it. Its getting annoying these bad caps. I would have been happy to pay a bit extra for the AN7 for quality caps.

            Thankyou
