    MS 6570 K7N2 delta L caps prob

    i have problem with my mb. the caps is leak due to the high temp.. i intent to replace it but unfortunately i forgot to mark the value the capsitors. can someone help me with it by giving me the correct place for evey capasitor with the correct value...its around the processor..and does the different version of mb used the different value of capasitor?

    one more thing,what is the problem when the optical mouse is still on after the computer is shut down.

      not sure of the values and positions but if i had the board and old caps here i could figure it out.
      the mouse issue is a feature not a bug.
      thats for the power on by mouse feature.
      it has to see +5 stby to work.

          i have the picture taken from the net,but its slightly different.how can i upload the image.
          thanks 4 the info about the mouse.its really bugging me when my 1st board msi kt4v is not like that.

              Calculating ESR from tan delta -- tan delta's dependence on capacitance

              I'm finally recapping my Soyo K7VX6 motherboard (aka KT600 Dragon Ultra) and replacing Sacon SZ-series caps. The Sacon SZ datasheet provides a spec for tan delta, but not for ESR, while the candidate replacement caps are specified in terms of ESR.

              I found this nice little description of the conversion:

              It mentions that a general spec for tan delta has to be adjusted for the specific capacitance before plugging tan delta into the formula...
