GTX 1050Ti, System freezes, x8 PCI-E

Hello,
I have a Gigabyte GTX 1050Ti Windforce

my situation:

• Аbout 15 seconds after system boots up, it just freezes and doesn't react to the keyboard and anything else.
• This trouble pops up only when display driver is installed.
• Gpu-z shows only x8 pci-e lanes.

my MATS test results didn't identify any issues with memory.

voltages that I measured:

• 12v pci-e ОК
• 12v from 6-pin connector OK
• 1.8v OK
• 1v ОК
• 1.5v memory OK
• 0.8v core OK

Does anyone know what can cause this problem?

do u really need somebody to tell you that x8 is problem?

That might be down to his motherboard, but I would clean the PCIe connector well, and look for a missing or damaged surface mount components on the link pair traces.

If those turn up nothing, maybe bad GPU core or BGA problems.

I've just measured the resistance of the link pair traces (there were no missing or damaged components) and I found a break on all of them (there were no contact with the ground so nothing displayed on my tester) except for only one trace (it had a normal R).
Is it a 100% bad core?
