Hello, i have Imac 20 a1224. And when I turn it on, 1 diagnostic LED is constantly on, and 2 and 3 light up for 5 seconds and go out instantly. 4 LEDs off. I checked the surge voltage on the power supply, it matches the information on the network. Can anyone help in diagnosing the logic board? The components look intact, the capacitors are okay. I still don't really understand what chips and how to check when I look at the schematics.

by kekosoHi I have a faulty imac a1224. When turned on, 1 LED is constantly on, and also 2 and 3 diagnostic LEDs light up every 5 seconds, and then they immediately go out. I checked the voltages of the power supply when trying to start and they correspond to the declared. I think the fault is somewhere on the motherboard, but I can't find boardview for this model on the forum. Only .sch, no .brd. Can someone share? Thanks

When I removed the screen from the iMac to check the status of the LEDs, I noticed that none of them were lit. I had a perfectly compatible and working power supply, so I tried it right away, but the problem remained the same (no LEDs). With the thermal camera, I noticed only a slight warming (32 degrees) of the NCP1605BG chip on the power supply. The rest was completely... -
by StepheniMac turns on no drops no cracks, tried to DFU Restore the iMac, logo turns on great! however iMac turns itself off and then restarts to the (!) icon and won't post the restore. Tried thunderbolt 3 cable, tried regular USB C cable and nothing.
this is the message it gives me with the error
Unexpected device state 'DFU' expected 'RestoreOS' (Probably forced into DFU mode externally) [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFAE (4014)].
Any thoughts what this could be? I will open it up and repair it but I am not 100% sure since this iMac doesn't... - Loading...
