HP w2338h, need help opening it up

I picked up this HP w2338h the other day. I've spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to open it up. So far, I don't see any way short of a hammer!

If anybody has any experience with this, I'd appreciate it...

    Thanks

it is most lickley like a hp w1907.
look on the bottom of front bezel for 2 retainers that pop thru the bezel.Snap those out and gently work your was around the front of the monitor.
I think I used a small hooked pic tool to work the bezel off.
If you search w1907 you should be able to get a better answer
    Al.
Whatever I do, I consider it a success, if in the end I am breathing, seeing, feeling and hearing!

Be careful when opening because there may be fragile connections, but this video gives you an idea

You basically need to pry the thing apart.

After it is apart, post clear focused pictures after reading

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

          Diagnose real-vintage Strong-Hammer arcade machine
          by edugimeno
          Hi there!
My friend wants me to help him repair his old-real-vintage strong-hammer machine. Well it's only 90% real as the force applied doesn't lift the weight itself but it is measured and it moves a motor that lifts the weight

I am attaching several pictures of the machine.
It basically has 2 sides, left side has
          • 2 x 220->12+24v transformers
          • 2 relays (1 moves motor UP, other moves motor DOWN)
          • IGF and breakers for safety
Right side is shown on pictures. It has 3 boards ( top-down)
          • Logic board. Receives 24AC and recitifies it into DC. Contains a uC (M80C85)

          Lenovo E15 Gen 2 GE4B0 GE5B0 NM-D011 Rev 1.0 sometimes not opening problem
          by s_specialist
Recently, I have started to encounter a problem with Lenovo E15 Gen 2 models not opening. When you try to open the device, it gives a warning sound and does not display an image, when you apply light pressure on the keyboard, the image appears and works for a while, when you turn it off and on, the same thing happens again. Bios was tried, RAM slots were cleaned and soldered to the legs, the problem still persists. There seems to be a problem with the onboard processors, but since Lenovos glue the processor firmly from the sides, the paths are very damaged when removing it. Has anyone encountered...

          HP w1907 2007.01.15 ILP1-027 troubleshooting
          by jlum1951
I've been struggling to find a schematic for a pesky HP w1907 monitor. Sometimes it flickers, sometimes it reverts to a 2 seconds to black. I have opened it up more times than I care to remember, reflowed solder, or switched lamps around and it magically may seem fine, then I put it back together and it will misbehave again. Some have replaced lamps but this can all the lamps suddenly go bad?

The power board marked as 2007.01.15 ILP1-027. It seems there are schematics for the later versions but they seem to be totally different. One thing I want to bring to the attention of this...
