    Samsung SyncMaster 911NT

I have this monitor Samsung SyncMaster 911NT which art as workstation because it has inbuilt Network, USB and Speaker. The monitor power LED come on and stay green. When I opened it I found three bulging caps so I changed them but still the same, the LED is on and nothing on the screen and two things I have notices are that sometimes the LED will be blinking and hearing very faint sound from the power supply side.
    Thanks for all the help.

    Incomplete information:
You changed 3 caps, but you did not say with what did you replace them.
You did not post info on the remaining caps (brand/series/cap rating/etc.)
You must check the output voltages of the power supply/inverter board

There is a green fuse on the right middle side of the board in between the heatsink and the transformer. Check to make sure it's not blown. Also check for any sneaky surface mount fuses on the back. This reminds me of the Samsung SyncMaster 225BW inverter board.

Eguevarae, the capacitors I changed have this on them SAM… I can not read them and I replace them with CapXon which I got from a friend.

Dgtech, I have found the fuse and I have changed it and now the monitor is back on. Thanks to all for your kind assistance.

Eeeeeeoooowwww!!! That wasn't the smartest move! Check their reputation elsewhere on badcaps - they are one of the WORST brands.

I agree. Now that you know the unit can live again, take preventive measures and put good caps in there.
