Chip Quik....what do i need to order

    Hi,

I have heard of this and even visited a few sites on you tube. I am placing an order through digikey and they carry chip-quik products. But i am not sure what i need to order.

Most of the sites i saw on line offer a "chip quik" starter kit which includes flux of some kind and then the chip quik stuff.

Any ideas on what to order through digikey?

Searching for 'Chip Quik' on their site brings up SMD1-ND and SMD1NL-ND. The first is for 'normal' solders, the second is for lead free solders. I use the first on both kinds of boards.

Flux comes with the kit. But if you don't have solder wick on hand, order some. It makes cleaning up the board very easy.
