This monitor uses a separate power brick to provide 12V input
Turned On using its power button, the display shows an Acer logo followed by a quick glimpse of which input it's scanning, before going black again
Although the power button will stay lit until pressed Off again
So I disassembled it, hoping for obvious bad capacitors somewhere
No such luck
The board pictured is where 12V comes in, along with video & audio inputs, but seems faultless to my inexperienced eye
Except that its caps are all Suscon
Am I barking up the wrong tree here, or are Suscon on this board likely to be the root of the problem?
