    acer al1916w

    Hi ...

Read all about 2 sec to black, but can not turn the monitor on :-(

Have changed the caps, the mosfets (40t03gp with 40n03gp),checked the
transformator, diodes, fuses, but the pictore is not willing to show ...

the green led stays on,when connected to computer if the computer goes
to slip mode the monitor goes to slip mode.

The back lights don't come on,but i don't know what to check more ...

    the board is 190m005 bf 02a ...

    thx

Also check the diodes for shorts and, if present, voltage regulators for the correct voltage input/output.
A schematic of the board helps.

"The back lights don't come on,but i don't know what to check more ..." So the backlights do not even flash on for seconds? Did you check and see if you do have BL-ON (INVR-ON) and DIM control signals?

I believe they used 3 smd fuses on the bottom of the board: F100, F101 and F200

The Main/Logic board has to send the command signal to turn on (>2.5VDC = ON, <1VDC = OFF) the BCKLIGHTS circuit, also DIMMING (Can be Analog siganl or PWM signal depend on the circuit design) command to control the Backlights level.
