Hello,
I have a problems with my Viewsonic VX2255wm monitor.
Few days ago the monitor started to have a problem, the monitor was working fine but each time my computer was stopped/started the led of the monitor was blue and the screen was black, and when I tried to push the power button of the screen it seems to be frozen, Blue led and black screen. So I decided to remove the power cable and to plug it again and it worked.
And I did it everyday.
But today the monitor (with blue led and blackscreen) when I unplug/plug the power the blue light goes on during 2seconds, off during 1seconds and then ON again (Blue led light, black screen, power button frozen)
And even when I shut the computer down my led is still blue.
I tried to push power button during 30seconds, another power cable, another PC.
So I'm here first to see if someone has already seen this sort of problems before doing anything. (NOTE : The whole screen is off, not just backlight, I can see it with my flash light)
Do you think this problem can be a capacitor problem ? Power supply ? (So why plug/unplug the screen did the trick last days ?)
Note (if it can help to see where the problem come from) : There was a power outage in my street on week ago that has ruin my Printer.
Thanks !
I will post pictures later when I will be able to disassemble the screen
